Helping people in need in the community of Thanet.
Margate & Dr Peete’s Charity
Can provide one-off grants for locals in need to help with bills, living expenses, household essentials, medical and other welfare.
Ramsgate Mayor’s Charity Committee
CT10 Charities
Help for Broadstairs and St Peters residents only, who are in need and do not qualify for state-funded aid. Grants for items like cookers, washing machines, school uniforms/outings, equipment for disabilities, help with urgent property repairs, cash grants for food/heating and more.
Mama to Mama Thanet
This baby bank service provides essential pre-loved items to vulnerable pregnant women, caregivers and children under 5 who are living in poverty.

National charity helping people get information and practical support. Their online Grant Search matches people with welfare and educational grants, support and services for which they’re eligible.

Sailors’ Children’s Society
Helping seafarers’ children in full-time education whose families are in severe financial difficulty.
Buttle UK
Helping UK children and young people living in crisis, financial hardship and with challenging social issues.
BBC Children in Need
Each year BBC Children in Need awards grants to organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people in regions across the UK.
